Agadir, Taghazout
and the surrounding area
Agadir is on the Atlantic coast and on the same latitude as the Canary Isles. The climate is semi-tropical, with an average of 300 days sunshine per year. In the summer the temperatures can reach 40 degree, whilst in winter the day temperature averages 25 and 15 overnight.
International scheduled flights to Agadir are operated by British Airways, Air France, and Royal Air Maroc. Low fare airlines and charter flights are available from many UK airports.
There are 9 kilometres of sandy, safe beaches, perfect for children.
International restaurants and bars are numerous, whilst many good standard hotels cater for both package holidays and individuals.

Taghazout is a small, traditional Berber fishing village. It has become quite well known as an internationally renowned centre for wind surfing ,and remains un spoilt.
It is easily reached from Agadir by either bus or taxi.
A variety of cheaper, clean accommodation is available throughout the year in hotels, hostels and private houses. There is a wide selection of bars and restaurants to suit all pockets.
The beach is clean and safe, there are many wind surfing beaches close by.
Tagazout is reminiscent of Torremolinos or Benidorm very many years ago.
