About Sedella

INFORMATION:
Andalucia is the largest of the administrative regions of Spain
and has eight provincial capitals of which Malaga is one. Axaquia
is a region of Malaga province and Sedella is a village in this
region.
Sedella is located 75 minutes drive north of Malaga airport ,and
is at a height of 2100 feet, 637 m above sea level. The climate
is mild in the winter and warm to hot in the summer.
Sedella has a population of approximately 500 people who are mainly
Spanish and there are a small number of English and Dutch residents.

. There is a hotel called La Casa Pinta with swimming pool, restaurant
and en-suite accommodation.
BARS AND EATING OUT:
There is Lorena Bar serving good tapas, the Piano Bar
restaurant (better known as Rafas) open in the summer season and
Bar Chiringuito a popular local bar serving tapas and menu
Del dia. The Plaza Bar is very popular and people say it
serves the best tapas in the whole region.
SHOPS:
There are three local shops which are of the “open all hours”
type. They sell a wide variety of goods but generally have a limited
range. The main supermarkets are in Velez-Malaga and Torre
de Mar and there is a hypermarket between the two.
BANKS:
There are two banks in the village of Canillas De Aceituno
which is 7 Kilometres from Sedella.
